OUR STORY

Hi! My name is Jake, along with my wife Brittni and our two sons, we are the proud owners and breeders of Golden Horse Farm.   Golden Retrievers have been part of every significant event in our lives.  Our loyal companions have given our family a sense of responsibility, unconditional love and have always been there when we have needed them. Our goal is to provide high-quality pure Bred Goldens to loving homes that will give their new families a lifetime of commitment.  Many hours have been spent researching, testing, and certifying our Goldens to ensure they are only the best. Our family has acquired qualities used to raise our pups that are essential in becoming responsible dog breeders. ​

Brittni has had the fortunate opportunity to be involved in the breeding of Golden Retrievers for most of her life.  From the time she was a child Brittni's family has professionally bred, cared for, and provided high-quality Golden Retrievers to dozens of grateful families. Brittni has carried the lifelong experience over to our current family business. When Brittni is not caring for our canine companions she is found to be caring for and training the horses that make up our farm. The love that Brittni pours into our animals reflects positively in the demeanor of each and every one.

Growing up I personally never owned a Golden Retriever.  It was not until I met Brittni and her family that I completely fell in love with the breed. Like Brittni, I bring experience from being a Police K9 handler.  I have had the opportunity to raise, develop and train different breeds of police K9s. I believe there is a direct correlation between running a successful K9 program to running a small business as our family has. We don’t just love our animals, they are literally our life.
